Terms and Conditions 

Rental Requests:

Items viewed online may have changed in appearance or condition. The renter acknowledges having inspected the items (either personally or through a representative) and deems them suitable, and in good working order prior to pick-up. The renter acknowledges that rental requests are not official orders, and items found on the Divine Furniture Rental website are not guaranteed to be available. The renter further acknowledges that descriptions found online may differ from the actual material, colour, pattern, or brand of the product. Descriptive words are chosen at the discretion of staff members to best describe the visual appearance of the item. The renter acknowledges that pricing is for approximate quotations only. Final pricing may vary for reasons including, but not limited to, rental term, quantity, condition, or delivery.


The renter agrees to use the rented item(s) only for the purpose for which it was designed. The renter also agrees to use rented items in a safe and careful manner which in no way will cause injury or damage to any property or person, including the rented item(s) itself. 

The renter acknowledges that no warranties are given whatsoever, express, or implied, regarding the rented item(s) suitability for the renter’s intended use. The renter agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Divine Furniture Rental, its affiliated divisions, officers, directors, and employees from and against liabilities, including but not limited to, legal proceedings, claims, expenses, or losses arising from the Renter’s use of the rented item(s).

Transportation of pickup & return rental items from and to Divine Furniture Rental, and all costs associated with transport are the sole responsibility of the renter. The renter agrees that no changes / alterations shall be made without prior written consent from Divine Furniture Rental. If any changes / alterations are made it is the Renter’s sole responsibility for full repair, restoration, or replacement of the rented item. 

Rental Period:

Items are rented from the Start date to the Finish date (the rental period contract). For pickup and returns the renter is responsible for returning rented items on or before the end of the established rental period. If authorized by Divine Furniture Rental the renter may extend their rental period. Extended rentals are subject to additional rental rates.

Loss/ Damage:

Upon the completion of the rental period, rented items are to be returned to Divine Furniture Rental in the same (complete) condition as received. The renter agrees to promptly pay Divine Furniture Rental the cost to repair or replace any and all items lost or damaged. Replacement costs are based on fair market value. Repair costs shall not exceed full replacement value.

Limit of Liability:

Divine Furniture Rental makes no warranty, express or implied, with respect to any clearances, consents, authorizations, or releases required for use of rented items. The renter accepts full responsibility for acquiring all clearances, consents, authorizations, and releases, and paying all accompanying fees.

The renter agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Divine Furniture Rental Inc., its affiliated divisions, officers, directors, and employees from and against all liabilities arising from any breaches, or errors.

Divine Delivery/Pickup: 

We have a dedicated team of logistics experts, experienced drivers and onsite staff that are ready to service you and deliver/set-up/pick-up your rental orders. 

Our fees are based on many factors, if you wish to receive a formal quote including delivery/set-up/pickup please fill out the online form through our website. Please note it is important to provide accurate timing and venue information along with the desired list of rental items so that we can provide you with a precise formal quote. 

We require a minimum 3-hour window for delivery/pickup as we have a lot of moving pieces to deal with and certain things like Traffic, access to loading docks etc. are out of our control. 

All our quotes include delivery, full set up and pick-up of the rental items. Please note that if you do wish for our team to set up the rental, we will require a floorplan before delivery is made to ensure the items are placed properly. 

There is a minimum rental amount for an order to qualify for delivery & pickup and a delivery/pickup fee will also be applied. Please contact our office for more details. 

Pickup & Return from Our Building:

On select products we can offer a pick-up and return option which means you can rent from us and look after the handling of the product yourself.  

Pick-up and returns can only be facilitated from Monday to Friday between 9am – 3pm and it is recommended you book a timing window with us to avoid having to wait for a loading dock. In the instance you do not book a window for pick-up/return, please keep in mind that Divine Staff will dictate the priority of the loading docks. 

It is important to note that for pick-up & return orders you will be required to utilize at least a cube sized truck. We always provide the proper covers to ensure our product is protected and we expect the product is returned to us in the same condition it goes out in. Any damage done to our products along with any missing covers will be the responsibility of the renter. If a 3rd party courier or trucking service is hired on your behalf, you will still be responsible for any missing items and damage. 

We require minimum 24-hour notice to facilitate a new pick-up & return order (Saturday & Sunday do not count as the office is not open). 

We are unable to accept partial returns from orders unless otherwise arranged with our office ahead of time. 

We are unable to facilitate any changes or substitutions when the pick-up is being done at our building.

Changes & Cancellations:

Final changes to your order are due 7 days in advance of your delivery. Any increases are subject to availability.

Once the final changes have been sent to you, we require an authorized credit card for the full rental amount of your order and a signature on the contract 7 days prior to your delivery.

Reductions in quantity are limited to 10% of the original amount ordered per item and must be made a minimum of 7 days prior to your event to avoid penalty.

Reductions in quantity or any reductions made within 7 days of your event are subject to a re-stocking fee which will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Any items cancelled within 1 week of the event date are subject to a penalty of the total rental rate of the cancelled item(s) plus taxes (excluding delivery charges). Orders cancelled within 72h of the event date will be charged a re-stocking fee.

 As these items will be made unavailable to other clients at the time of booking, if you do cancel your entire reservation, you will be charged a 50% re-stocking fee on the entire order.

Last Minute Changes/Additions:

All change requests within 72 hours of the time of delivery are subject to approval since they are outside of the timelines in our terms. Should we be able to accommodate your request. Payment/Credit Card authorization on last minute changes and additions must be, made immediately, otherwise product will not be delivered.
